I feel for you.It has been 24 days since my last confession...
Laced up a front wheel, it was going so well. I had tensioned the spokes up to a point, ready to start truing. I thought it looked a little off centre, so I checked the dish. It was waaaaaay out.
Then I remembered something that I didn't notice as I was setting up... I put the shorter spokes on the right side, and the longer spokes on the left side of a front disc hub and laced it up that way.
So now I need to pull it all apart, make sure I put the correct spokes in the correct spot and lace it up correctly.
No pressure, future Canary, no pressure.
And................ don't forget to line up the valve hole with the hub logo if you are OCD inclined. That drives me crazy but I just can't unforget itSo now I need to pull it all apart, make sure I put the correct spokes in the correct spot and lace it up correctly.

That bit I had right!And................ don't forget to line up the valve hole with the hub logo if you are OCD inclined. That drives me crazy but I just can't unforget it

Its the most disheartening feeling in the world.I did that once on a carbon wheel I built up
I have totally never ever done that myself....It has been 24 days since my last confession...

Clearly he is still an expert, since the tyre fits, but may not be a fork expert since 6mm of clearance is usually required (although I have been known to break this rule myself)
Pfft. Just sand the arch until it fits. Problem solved.Hey you lot, it is fine as long as it doesn't have to roll.
Anyhow, I can firmly blame Schwalbe for this fiasco. If it didn't have a slight hump then it would be passable.
Checking the tyre stash shows a few 2.4s which might not work as a 2.35 replacement A 2.25 Rocket Ron or Vertical might have to save the day.
We have the same thoughts. Drillium FTWPfft. Just sand the arch until it fits. Problem solved.
Just tighten the spokes at the top of the wheel and loosen the ones at the bottom and you'll be good to go!We have the same thoughts. Drillium FTW
The mud guard fender things is clearly way too thick. Here you go. It even rolls.
I am back to claim my still warm seat at the 'wheelsize expert' table.

This is the sort of stuff that I can take seriously.Just tighten the spokes at the top of the wheel and loosen the ones at the bottom and you'll be good to go!
I can see daylight. Just stick to places where no debris can flicked up and it will be fine.We have the same thoughts. Drillium FTW
