LockR expanding axle, they've been around for years, Gt runs them on the AOS model and they work quite well.

Mehh! I didn't even torque mine up last time. The main thing is that you over tighten them.Yeah but who has a torque wrench that's accurately calibrated down to 1Nm? And the declaration it'll shit itself so easily?

Any particular type of pear? Nashi, packham?A pear hung on a metre rule. Piss of piece.
I thought Newton was all about apples?A pear hung on a metre rule. Piss of piece.
We don't grow the ones that weigh a Newton.I thought Newton was all about apples?
Not sure I quite get what you're saying. If you look closely pics show that it isn't tapered, it bulges a bit on the middle but top and bottom look roughly the same. The headset specced in the builds is ZS56 both top and bottom. It steps out at the centre. Top is 56mm OD to fit into the frame, bottom is 56mm ID to replicate the frame & fit the headset in. So lower half OD will be nudging 62mm depending on wall thickness.
Wolftooth extender thingy goes into frame, lower headset cup goes into extender thingy. Frame now extended by 10mm. Pretty cool, but @moorey needs another 8mm correction for his one-day-soon-to-be-maybe-kinda frame. Not sure I quite get what you're saying. It’s what’s on the main pivot of my Tranny Suppressor.LockR expanding axle, they've been around for years, Gt runs them on the AOS model and they work quite well.
Hmm. Will be keen to hear more at some stage.Pivot sell a 17mm cup. I’m running one on my switchblade. Could be an option. Might no a bloke that could send you one as well
That looks like a 52mm, not 56mm. Otherwise good sizing.gooGle gives me this:

I reckon sell some stuff from the back of the shed and go 29 on the front. Run it as they intended.
Ugh. Damn didn’t see the small print. That looks like a 52mm, not 56mm. Otherwise good sizing.
I will thank you. I send you thisHmm. Will be keen to hear more at some stage.
You're looking at a different beastie. What you're thinking of there is a full headset. The adaptor up the page is just the lower bit, essentially a head tube extension. Not sure I quite get what you're saying. Yep, thanks. Had a seniors moment. A bit earlier than I expected but back in the war we used to tie an onion to our belt. Not those white onions, no. The big yellow ones. We used to tie them to our belts it was the style at the time...Wolftooth extender thingy goes into frame, lower headset cup goes into extender thingy. Frame now extended by 10mm. I have so many brain fades I forget to post replies. They sit there as a draft before the matrix cleans it up.Yep, thanks. Had a seniors moment.
