Picked this up today :) super pumped.

So, why the Teewing? 3 (edit, actually 4) reasons, it looks sleek enough, it was a bargain (by todays standards), it is a high-mid pivot and it was available as a frameset, that was a big one.

Stripped my enduro bike down to build it, so its a fairly under gunned build, but will get some Zebs and new tires later on. The motor is insane and nearly completely silent.

I already love this thing!

Jesus, that's a proper high pivot. Mid high pivot would have the lower pivot hovering somewhere near the top of the chainring.

Are you planning to go full dual crowns at any point?

So first ride in the bag, I’d say it does exactly what it says on the tin. Smooth and supple rear suspension, motor is border line comical going up fire roads but still so sensitive and controlled when you need it to be. Also shocked how quiet the motor is, it’s crazy.

I’ve got a slight misalignment between the idler and chainring and well as a little gap in the bolt that holds it together, I assume it’s related.
Tires are only EXO and feel a bit squirmy, I’ve got some Spesh radials on order that should solve that.
100% awesome bike, if you are looking for a long travel M2S powered bike, I don’t think you’ll do much better then this, let alone after taking pricing into account!

Given the Dual wheel size - I assume you are riding on 29er wheels - is there any flip chip or such to adjust the rear of the bike for 27.5?
 
Yeah, that’s my only peev with the bike. It’s got a flip chip for mullet, but it chews the chainstay length to bits. 450 in 29, 436 or something in 27.5.
Just fit modular dropouts and be done with it 🙄

And yeah, I’m running full 29.
 
@B Rabbit have you pop the flip chip on to the 29er setup but run a 27.5 rear? Thinking of getting one myself, but am curious to see what it rides like if setup that way. The chainstay for the 29er setup is bang on for me, but i am too midget to ride 29 ride and much prefer mx setup.

Hey, sadly I havent gotten to ride it over the last month, weather and life have gotten in the way, I havent tried a mullet setup, let alone in 29 mode, if I get a chance I'll give it a go.
The chainstay setup is the real only annoyance on the bike, other wise the thing rips!
Got some zeb ultimates and gave em a green to gold wrap, also got a bike yoke 45mm stem and some oneup V2 50mm carbon bars. Next on the list are some Wingman carbon wheels on sidekick 2.0 hubs :) Just gotta save some coin.

I emailed Teewing asking what the BB height will be like if i flip the chainstay flipchip to 29er setting but run it as MX. They said the BB will drop to 320mm. Seems excessive. That's a good 25-30mm drop from the high setting.

From the way the chainstay flipchip is, i can't really see how that is possible. I called a shop which carries it and they were saying it will drop, but it won't be much.

I did some calculation earlier, and I think it'll drop to around 336mm. It is on the low side but not too bad, especially with 155mm crank.

My current pole machine is supposed to be a 29er, but I just pop a 27.5 rear and its bb dropped to 340mm. Ride very well with 165mm crank.

My current frame sits at 335 natively. Is perfect on 160 cranks.
 
Called a shop today who kindly measured the bb height for 29er chainstay but with 27.5 rear. BB dropped to 323, which is super low. I just measured my pole machine running mx and its bb sits at 324, also mad low. no idea how i have been riding it without mashing my pedals and crank..

AND.. I put a deposit in for a medium :p. expected late september. fingers crossed.
