I find it difficult to associate the epithet GOP with the Republican Party of today. There is nothing grand about it anymore.

Aside from that, I am reminded of the Resident Evil Umbrella Corporation's underground bunker by this picture, because that's exactly what it is 🤣 Trump knows no shame, he's willing to triple the cost of his ballroom to the American tax payer by adding some other bullshit functions that sound government and adminstration related. Definitely a vanity project, he wants to leave a legacy so no one forgets him. He needn't worry, history will have a couple of pages on him.

I was doing an online trivia quiz and got a question wrong. The question was what is the generic term for spineless animals and I wrote republicans. They wanted invertebrates.

A Somali football referee who was going to ref at the World Cup, was denied entry by Murican customs and sent home, probably because of a blanket travel ban on people from Somalia.

I had a customer ask me why I wasn't on a plane to the US already to pick up their parts (that were needed because of an internal fk up our end), to which I replied "there is no fking way I'm flying to the US anytime soon, I like being free"

Official passports are government officials and diplomatic staff. Essentially an official of the country issuing it. Ours are green. Public servants and defence etc get one and it opens up special rights and access to consular assistances as well making workcover your travel insurance.
