Buying bike parts from overseas, shipping time estimates and methods ?

Going out on a limb here, but DHL are starting to make AusPost almost look good!

3 weeks & counting. Ordered from B24 Jan. 19th, still in Frunkfart.

I’ve got some parts sitting in Frankfurt purchased on a similar date. Not from B24 but I don’t think it matters. Any thing bought from Germany is usually bought under the premise that I’m going to need it in a month.

Purchased a set of wheels from Hunt which were sent Saturday and arrived from the UK Wednesday via Fedex/TNT very fasterer.

Shipped on the 11th. No update since the 13th when it was, "In transit. Received by the carrier.", Whatever that means...

The Frankfurt Tardis is broken. it just sits there like a cunt and does nothing for about a month, then coughs out your parcel or box onto a plane.

Been hit and miss for me with Frankfurt items in the last few weeks. Some taking 2-3 weeks. One left which is still sitting there. At 4 weeks now

Got me bits! Barely more than 24 hours in the hands of Aus Post, after nearly five weeks in Frunkfart.

I emailed both Bike24 and DHL on Tuesday about the appalling delivery; no response from DHL as yet, two from B24 to follow up, one of which says they'll refund the €20 shipping charge!

On a side note, B24 appear to have a new packing monkey - only one tiny nick on the side of the box and all tape actually stuck in the right places!

No longer ship to Aus I believe and have become a Kiwi Anaconda (err) store.

I bought some shoes a few years back from PBK great price and fast shipping.
