Brake Mount Question??

At the moment I ride with 2009 Fox 40's and want to know if I purchase 2012 Boxxer World Cups, will the 8" brake mount that I use now (Avid Juicy 7 brakes) will work with the Boxxers or will I have to get a different one? Any help would be great.

2012 Boxxer World Cup with a 203mm (8") post mount adapter.

Does your Fox 40 adapter look the same?

I have a similar question, but for keeping the same fork (Fox Float) but changing the brake from Elixir 1 to XT.

Is the same brake mount extension okay for both calipers?

It should but worst case just throw flat washers under the caliper to Space it to fit

I did have some lateral adjustment issues using XT calipers on an avid adapter on some domain forks. Not sure if it was just me, but when I swapped out to a Shitmano one it was fine, didn't need any flat washers though as the diameter spacing was fine.

That's for the pre 2010 boxxers, you want this: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobile/au/en/avid-cps-brake-mount/rp-prod75477 .
Pick the 51mm IS mount then 200mm front and put an extra little washer under each bolt. Unfortunately avid have gone with 200mm instead of 203 and don't sell to sell the 203 mounts anymore on crc
If the 2012 Boxxer has 74mm Post Mounts and the brake caliper is made to fit on 74mm Post Mounts why would a 51mm IS adapter be needed.

'Ezkaton' asking a 'similar' question has confused the answers, 'A-Listers Only' doesn't need a 51mm IS adapter, a 74mm PM adapter is needed.

A 2012 Boxxer needs the following adapters for 200/203mm rotors.

200mm:

203mm:

Fox 40's have the IS brake mounts set at 203mm specs not 160mm specs, to use a PM caliper on a Fox 40 with a 203mm rotor you'd need to use a 160mm PM to IS adapter as it doesn't increase the size of the IS mounts.
Avid's Front 160mm / Rear 140mm PM to IS adapter is now called a 0mm adapter because it keeps the size of the IS mounts.

0mm / 160mm front / 140mm rear PM to IS adapters:

With a 203mm PM to IS adapter on a Fox 40 with 203mm IS mounts you'd need to use a 240mm rotor.

Here's a couple of photos of Fox 40's with a 160mm front PM to IS adapters and a 203mm rotors:
