PSA - Lifeblood recently changed their position Re living in the UK between 1980 to 1996, where by you've been ineligible to donate. This ban was lifted July of this year, so as long as you comply with the other eligibility requirements, you're now good to go if previously exempt for this reason.
People who lived in the United Kingdom for over 6 months between 1980 and 1996 can now give blood in Australia. Yep, blood donors from the UK are A-OK!
