Has anyone used Unistrut to build a hanging sliding storage solution?

This looks great but it gets expensive as you add more hooks -

Inspired by a comment on BikeRumor I looked into Unistrut and it looks like it could be a much cheaper way of doing things (bar the unweighted trolley lock).
Given the sort of installation conditions and requirements for stuff that Unistrut (or EzyStrut for that matter) is normally used for, I'd be astounded if it turned out cheaper than that link.

I built a similar system with 6 hooks using a sliding door rail system from Hammer Barn. It was $144 for 3m and comes with 4 roller trolleys in the rail. I bought 2 more rollers and used the regular/cheap overmoulded hooks.

Probably spent about $170 total.
