Best beginner dually for a big bloke

Guy in Hobart i know asked for advice on a beginner bike - 6’2” and 95kg. Ride Nth Sth track and presumably will get to Derby.

29er of course, but any brands better for big blokes?

Hard to look past Nukeproof Reactor and Ripmo AF atm depending on budget.

Yeah he’s not that big. Any XL trailbike that he likes the look of and is in budget will work, he just might have to put volume reducers in to stop him blowing through travel.
While I’m here I’ll plug the commy meta tr. All the reviews say it’s a solid frame, it and specfor $ is pretty nice.

That’s not big!

For me suspension with high anti-squat is key. DW Link (pivot and ibis) KS Link (Banshee) have been great. I run a LL tune full open on a V2 Prime and it’s great.

Haven’t ridden giant in a long time but the old maestro bobbed like crazy when I test road it, same with Specialized FSR.
