Accessory mounts feature on the underside of the top tube, but there are no bottle cage mounts, despite there being enough room inside the front triangle.

I rode a bike with no bottle cages for years, never again! So I can extend the range to n this bad boy and ride all the way to dehydration. Yep, if you can get your head around paying $1500 for a groupset and have upgraded everything else on your bike, that's a bargain. The cassette alone is like $800 or something.

Sort of a bargain.... i figure everyone just wants transmission now which GX is about $1500 so why would you go back in technology? Cant see why anyone would buy AXS moving forward unless their bike isnt UDH compatible. So a bargain? Kind of sort of.

I'm on cable GX and look forward to doing a full swap to Shimano Deore / SLX / XT.
I have no idea how SRAM managed to convince us all that their cassettes are worth 3x that of a Shimano equivalent.
The bike i have now is my first foray into SRAM drivetrain - GX - and I'm not impressed compared to Shimano.
Great bargains on Shimano from our friends at Aliexpress as well.

You can run SRAM derailleur on Shimano cassettes, with whatever chain you feel like...12 speed is 12 speed despite what marketing tells you. Even compatible with each other's shifters.
I prefer the shifting and clutch of the X01 over Shimano XT, but XT cassettes are great for the price.

The expensive ones (X01, XX1) are single piece machined steel, weigh very little and last forever, but yeah as you say it's hard to stomach the price when Shimano is so much cheaper. I recently picked up an XT cassette and am keen to see how the durability fares.

Imo AXS is very very good, but so is mechanical X01 / XX1 so objectively it's hard to justify the extra cost. One caveat - both myself and a few mates have inadvertently put AXS parts through the wringer and they've shrugged it off, so if you're in the habit of breaking derailleurs it could be a good option. Never tried Transmission in the wild so no idea how different it is.

Just recently I was running a shimano xt cassette, XO1 rear mech with Garburuk extended cage with pulley wheels, KMC chain, Alugear chain ring, E13 cranks and sram shifter. Worked smoooooth as.
Mechanic at the bike shop I was at took it for a spin and came back shocked it all worked as well as it did.
