Alternative for Sram oil in Rockshox air can??

Best thing you've found for what application? @DMan was asking for shock aircan oil in the OP. 75W-90 is thick as.

I've not opened a Rockshox shock (yet), but imagine the oil would be pretty light.
Works fine on the fox floats when you don't have the proper stuff, used it in a rockshox monarch as well, and the new age gear oil isn't that thick. NSD fills them up with Slickoleum and oil, and it comes out for months. I wouldn't be using auto oil as it has a seal swelling agent in it for rubber seals.

This is 4 weeks of riding after a NSD service.

I use Mobil 1 0-40W motor oil. I wouldn't use any of the ATFs or gear oils because of the additives. There will be slipperier stuff you can use but just do the aircan service a bit more frequently and your shock and seals will last much longer at a higher performance level.
