Well, it's that time of year again. The battlefield is Fort William in Scotland and the warriors are primed and ready. The difference this year? You actually get to watch it...

LIVE!

4x is on Friday night (UK time), which I'm going to guess is very early Saturday morning. I'm sure I won't be the only one sitting in front of the computer with an endless supply of coffee so be sure to participate in some as-it-happens forum posting in this thread.

For more information check out the official world champs website here. Also be sure to participate in Litter's OTB competition where you win by predicting results and times!!!

Qualifying results are up - and as Fraser mentioned on Transcend - nobody pushed it in the DH. Maltman is still nursing his ankle through and is about 55th. Does anybody know whether riders who don't ride the 4X quals get to race? If this is the case, then I think Terry Scarr and Lloydy will be throwing fits as three of the Aussies were DNS.

Not sure if you've got the times right Scott. It says here that the 4X is on at 19:00 GMT, which is actually 5am EST.

And that the DH is 11:30 GMT which is 9:30pm EST

Don't want anyone missing the 4X.
