Frame Repair Thoughts ? (I knew it was to good to be true)

just send it to the BICYCLE specialist GRIPSPORT.. dicking around with all these other fabrication places can only end in heartache.. the guys at Gripsport specialise in this stuff and see it day after day.. not sure why you don't want to send it to them..

Our MTB holiday to Forrest and Buller plan - your input appreciated :)

I prefer to stay off the mountain in Mansfield.. more variety regarding pubs, restaurants etc.. Banjo's is a nice place to stay.. huge rooms and nice and quiet.. Make sure you organise the shuttle if you will be there during the week as it only runs on the weekends.. Other than that.. HAVE...

    Rear tyre recommendation

I tried a Hans Dampf trailstar front and pacestar rear over the weekend at Buller and they went pretty good.. running tubless at low 30's PSI and they stuck everywhere and rolled ok but a little slow..... braking performance was very good and cornering grip was excellent.. could really rail...

    Bike suggestions around $2500

agreed.. wow.. that is a good deal.. surprised it's still for sale new.. um.. a Remedy 8 on runout would be close to $2500.. Remedy is a great bike.. not as common as Giant but perhaps not as well specced
