beautiful bikes - post them here

Love this. I've also subscribed to the updates for the new Flare that comes out soon - keen to see how that looks!

    Surly

Also a great antidote for the smoothed out trails at BR!

    Surly

Loving the simplicity of this bike, might do a PYR at some stage.

What did you do TO / WITH / FOR your bike today!

Definitely for owning an immaculate Starling we haven’t seen for weeks now…

What are the best of the last 26" bikes ever made?

My vote is for the Process 167. I had the 153, but thought this was very cool: Same time they had the Process 111 which was fatman’s XC before that became really popular too.

    AM Transition to Banshee

This bike is currently disassembled, but wanted to make note of its last configuration. It will be built up again someday :) Frame - Banshee Prime V3 Large Rear shock - Fox DPX2 Front shock/fork - DVO Diamond 150mm Handlebars - PNW Range 800mm Stem - DMR Defy Headset - Banshee...

ACT Left XT brake lever (M8000), or similar set

I swapped over the M8100 lever from my (disassembled) Banshee and it works really well. I will swap the other one when I get some more olive/barbs so they match (the M8100 feels so much nicer). Unless there is a cheap M8000 out there somewhere, I'll probably end up just get another set of M8100...

    The QUICK question thread.....

Bike Yoke Divine is nice. Doesn’t have the fastest return but fine for me. My shock pump only goes to 300 so it might be a tiny bit faster at 350 psi

    Site access issues recently

I was checking out what the bots were reading on here and came across this thread: https://www.rotorburn.com/forums/index.php?threads/mont-24-advice.276787/page-8 Before my time, but some recently mentioned names appear 🤣 Escalating to sending money in hopes of having him shutup was hilarious

ACT Left XT brake lever (M8000), or similar set

Not sure - they seem like the lever body is largely a single unit, so not possible to just change out the clamp? It snapped at the red line here: Suspect that the m9000 would be a bit different (and probably beyond me) to throw the m8000 guts into?

ACT Left XT brake lever (M8000), or similar set

Item: Shimano XT M8000 lever - left side. Location: Canberra Price range/Willing to Pay: around $25 Extra Info: The mounting clamp just snapped on my aged XT brake lever when trying to reposition and tighten. Checking if anyone has another laying around. Alternatively, a matching set of left...

    Bruce Ridge ACT

I noticed a few weeks back that Hidey-Ho is now very much smoothed out, and people were using it to descend instead of climb. Its always been bi-directional, but never really saw it used as a descent before.

    The QUICK question thread.....

I decided to go for a Divine over the PNW - it does review well, and I like you can fully rebuild it, and swap the lower tube between 30.9 and 31.6 if you want to move it across bikes.

    The QUICK question thread.....

I was originally thinking around $250 so maybe a little extra for that one might be the go. I wish the One Up ones were cheaper - have a V2 but in 31.6

    The QUICK question thread.....

Whats good in the "budget but not too budget" 30.9 dropper post world these days? PNW Range and KS Vantage seem to fit the bill - any other recs?

    Electric Vehicles etc

We decided not to go all in on one EV just yet (Trailseeker), so partner replaced her aged and battle worn (3 hail storms!) Hyundai with an Ora 5. She's pretty stoked with it, so will see how we go having that for about town and getting up to Syd etc, and I might look at sidegrading my XV to a...
