What is your greatest trail ever ridden?

First 13 of Bay of Fires is up there for me. Really loved Kingswall too. Totally agree with Trouty also. Obviously, both of those first two are really long. Much shorter but I really always enjoy Tank to Tank in Nannup in WA. Seriously, there are enough trails now for you East Coast people to...

    Warburton trail updates

I feel super fortunate, came from WA and had zero window 1 day .. got perfect conditions and it was closed too wet week before, closed week after for fire/burn off, snow this week !

    Warburton trail updates

I got out there on Sunday (saw the SES doing their thing) and was with my sister, who is absolutely a beginner but she really had fun on the greens, we parked at Wesburn so I convinced her to go down Yankee Jim and Hey Hey My My, she didn't love the latter and I crawled down it with her which...

Does it come with shorter cranks? If so I'd recommend giving them a decent try first. My BB is really low so I need that but I've come to quite like them, especially on eeb.

I reckon you can really only use that much power (if you ever do) on fire road climbing.

To E bike it or not to E bike it, that is the question

The best e-bike today will not be best ebike tomorrow. Avinox system easily the best motor/battery combo available unless you want stealth/lowest weight in which case TQ60 in my view. Should get a deal on a runout Amflow as new model and motor due on 9th of April. If you want big travel e-bike...

I am definitely a better rider due to the eeb not because of the bike just the distance travelled and tracks ridden I would never have done on the old bike. I get to the top without being too knackered to ride down properly and I just ride much more in general and enjoy it more.

Any word on the next stage tracks, might be over to Melbs end of April with 1 day to ride, is it worth bringing the bike to give these a run, understand the next stage (and shuttles) running then?

I used to ride a 140/140 trail bike, then 160/150 eeb and now 170/170 eeb. Do I need 170 no has it saved my arse sometimes I'm pretty sure it has (not enough sometime unfortunately) if I was a really good rider I wouldn't need 170 for the tracks I ride, but I'm not and there is a safety factor...

Yeah it's not a bad weight at all for the kind of bike it is my tiny muscles just need a slightly lighter bike. I saw one in the flesh today looks very nice!

    Velduro Rogue

The latest MBR video has it on the scales tubeless 23.3kg with DD tyres, this makes sense the frame is about 1.2kg heavier than the Amflow apparently. You could obviously put it on a diet I reckon maybe get it to 22 with the 800wh battery depending on tyre choice and suspension choice. I prefer...

    Electric Vehicles etc

I can see the argument with the vast majority of these but I have a steep terrible condition pea gravel on concrete driveway full of holes that a lot of cars struggle with and my tesla goes up it super easy with essentially no wheelspin and it is 2WD. I have seen AWD and 4WD cars have a lot more...

It's true, I believe the earth is round. :) However, going back to the tariffs on Chinese EVs we don't have any do we? As opposed to the US and EU, which have substantial trade barriers to protect their car industries. I think it might be optimistic if they think open competition is happening...
