I wear gloves even if I'm peddling round to the local shops to buy some milk. I still remember the damage I did to my hands when I crashed my bmx as a kid.. Still surprised to see riders wearing $500 lids at the trails without gloves on.

Finding myself riding my dualie 29er more and more on the road (50 50 ratio). Currently have Vee attack tyres but they are starting to wear and I was looking at something in between dirt and road. Like a harder compound that still has grip on the dirt. Seems to be lots of stuff out there but...
