TAS 27.5 32h rim or wheel with broken hub

I'd only replace the spokes that are actually damaged. Check them for gouges and if there are no gouges they'll be fine to re-use.

    Sealant thoughts

Probably. I got a 5L container of the Windex from somewhere ( maybe Supercheap) and it was pretty inexpensive.

    Sealant thoughts

I found adding the propylene glycol caused my mix to form boogers. I don't use it anymore. Windex (for the ammonia) stops the latex going off. Whe it dries out it forms a nice even coating on the inside of the tyre which provides some puncture protection even if dry.

A big shout out to the Rocky Valley Snow, Bikes, Cafe in Mount Beauty. This is the second time they've helped me out when doing a Vic high country adventure. The first time was in 2019 when we were riding the Hunt route Canberra to Melbourne and I needed a new rear derailleur but would not...

    The stupid questions thread.

Yeah. They probably shouldn't be sloppy at all but it seems like they all do the cups like that. Maybe so a bit of corrosion won't get the bearings stuck.

    The stupid questions thread.

They've got an angled seat so the bearings can be loose in the OD and still work nicely once the fork is installed.

Stans hubs were typically made by Chosen. Some googling might find the free hub you need.

Motorcycle Thread - Post it all

I've got a Sherco 290 and although it is grunty and almost instant throttle response, for the big features you.still need to get it on the chip, store a crap ton of energy in the flywheel and dump the clutch. I suppose as powerful as the electric motors can be it's hard to get the sort of launch.
