Quick Q, I've been looking at a used 2019 Specialized "Stunt Jumper" 29 frame. Are these still renowned for destroying rear shocks?
Also what shocks are recommended that are least destroyable?

Wasn't there a problem with the rear yokes flexing or something like that along the lines of?

I guess that depends if you're a "close enough is good enough" tradie or not...
I'm definitely not a "tradie" (fuck I hate that term), I am a tradesman though.

And since everything I do in my job is required to be to thousandths of an inch, when it comes to life outside of work I prefer this approach

If that isn’t your life motto, then you aren’t a tradie, you are an “artisan” or a “craftsman”
The Saffa's use the term "artisan" and I like it.

Yep. The fsr linkage puts the pivot point further away via the yoke, so the glide ring in the middle of the shock takes extra load.

So avoid not buy? Frame only, no shock or rear axle $500 probably stolen but not gigantor size like most bikes for sale.
