I won't bfg again. Old went hard mid wear, new design same. Happy with Scorpians ATR+ and now Yoko Geolanders. AT not MT or HT though.
Luckily Simex Centipedes are cheap and have plenty of grip. They're not mind blowing but they have been acceptable. Fortunately we deal with straight lines and very little rain.
BFGs or Coopers would be great though. Bank account rarely agrees though.
My latest are Toyo Open Country AT2's, nowhere near as aggressive as I usually buy. Probably the most surprising tyre I've ever bought. Quiet, grippy on dry, wet and gravel, also decent on the occasional off road jaunt. They're not mind blowing but they have been acceptable. Fortunately we deal with straight lines and very little rain.

You need to micro manage a bit harder Poodles.Yesterday was busy and chaotic, just the way I like it. So much better than sitting in a training room all day. I got to play the super hero and pat myself on the back because who else would?
Favourite scenario - I split the fridges up so booze and soft drinks are seperated, but we are expanding booze into soft drink fridge.
Me: I'm not sure all our staff aren't going to fuck that up.
Other t/l: You need to give the staff more credibility than that, they aren't that dumb.
Me: are you sure?
Later that night...same staff have stacked excess furniture across the outside of the emergency exit doors to our main space. And I'm not just talking like a couple of chairs. 25 chairs, 4 8 person trestle tables, 4 windbreakers, 2 fence trolleys, and some other random bits. FUCK ME!!!!! It's not like the signage on the doors isn't very clear. So in the rain I resolve the issue. On the plus side they did stack it all up pretty neatly.
Feeling very confident they won't confuse a highly decorative cider cans which have the smallest legally acceptable font for alcohol content hidden on them for soft drink cans.
It certainly feels like it sometimes. You need to micro manage a bit harder Poodles.
I had a Ford Escort with wide offset minilites that would rub the wheelarches over big bumps and wear the sidewalls like that....Did a puncture repair on a friends Honda Civic. Tires have been on there since they bought it second hand in 2017
How the fuck this wear on the outer sidewalls happened I’ll never know. Directional tires.
Nice, a good age to get started Paddock bashers are awesome for this. I think I was learning about opposite lock power sliding in the mud by the time I was that ageGave my lad his first driving lesson yesterday. He'll be 14 in November, so I decided it was well and truly time for him to learn the intricacies of all our vehicles and machinery.
He absolutely aced it.
Driving around a 30acre property we manage. Started in the farm buggy, a manual Daihatsu traytop. Then progressed to my rodeo, complete with telstra service box, making vision tricky for the uninitiated.
He's all excited now, looking forward to a day of slashing on Saturday.
It’s from driving it while semi-flat (One of my tyres has the same). I gingerly drove maybe 2km with a very low pressure (but not totally flat) tyre, and the same thing occurred. My guess is that either the tread ends up sitting beneath the sidewall, or the tyre folding/rubbing on itself while turning.Did a puncture repair on a friends Honda Civic. Yep, we look forward to that. At the moment it's like painting the Harbour Bridge.
