A lot of people also get caught with PayPal - if you pay by PayPal a lot of business will send it to the address you have on file at PayPal not the address you entered into their system. Gotta make sure PayPal has the right address too.
Yep I got caught because I thought I could check the address at check out, like I normally can on paypal. This just went through without showing me. Pay pall address was correct but my account in this site was the old one. I contacted the seller and they said they would post to new address and then they did not. So they will refund once they get it and F you Oz post.

Oh geez, Ive got one at the moment, been in Sydney back and forth for a week now, paid for Express too (Country NSW apparently, 15 mins from Canberra) since I was in quarantine.

I am also awaiting the 3rd copy (yes, Third copy of spoke magazine as the previous two have gone missing from the printers in NSW on the way to our house, we dont even live in an Apartment so its not the expected end of line stealage of the package either)

I guess I had better join the queue here. Had a package sent from Oregon, USA. Arrived in Sydney in 4 days. Since then....

No way to track it with Australia Post. I have put it into the "forget it" bin. It will be a nice surprise when it turns up.

It was before 12pm, just USPS's way of saying "April Fools!". :p

I've had a parcel get stuck in Sydney through the Cainiao tracking number, but I can't use that number to submit a complaint on austpost as they don't recognise the tracking number, the search just times out with the scrolling thingo going.

Just to buck the trend, I had a very good AusPost delivery. DHL on the other hand...,

Ordered stuff 7/3 (a Sunday if I recall). Stuff dispatched 8/3, processed for departure 9/3, then nothing....

Checked (again) tracking on Sunday just gone; B24 said (paraphrasing) your stuff isn't on a plane yet, it might be delayed. Cross-check on DHL still shows no movement.

Today I find an AP card in my letterbox for Stuff to collect. It landed on Sunday just gone. No AP national tour this time around.

Another in the good news camp, ordered from MTB Direct on Monday night with standard delivery and delivered in Sydney this morning...seems pretty good for a decent sized box.

Same here. I ordered from MTB Direct on Saturday and goodies arrived yesterday with standard delivery.

Seems a bit random the dropper post has no individual/branded box though? Is that a thing now? The MTBD box is about 1/3rd the volume of the last box I got though so they are improving on that front!

I'm not too worried about the outer box going mia, although I'd prefer that to the three heavy plastic bags.

The packing box was a bit of surpise though, thought I must've topped up the order with 6 new tyres and a new drivetrain or something.

Yeah I get what you’re saying. I do like the cardboard packaging for a bit of extra impact protection if the shipping box gets dropped or thrown around in transit, it’s saved quite a few high-value items I’ve had delivered over the years!

Latest one with my lovely auspost dude is he scans as delivered and actually delivers 3 business days later, so I’m looking, asking neighbours and getting ready to file a claim when the bastard rocks up like nothings wrong
My work is opposite a Post Office. I reckon 80% of parcels I hope to get delivered go straight to the post office with 'delivery attempted, no one home' or something similarly useless.

At the moment it's really only worth using Express. Well for regional QLD anyway. 3 parcels on the same day, 2 from Brisbane and 1 from Melbourne. The Melbourne one was Express and it arrived in 3 days. Brisbane is 3 hrs and only 1 stop away and they still have't arrived.... I would have Expressed the other 2 but for some reason when you qualify for free post from BikeBug you can't opt for Express. Maybe it's just my location.
