Yeah, they've followed in the foot steps of Datto utes and are worth proper money now. There's a Brumby down the street from me, I think they also go for a bit these days.
So much more character than all the hilux and ranger clones! Perfect for a runabout & get to the local trails.
This answers so much. Yet creates so many more questions.Got my new Ute!
Would happily slum it in a GTS 4.0 litre too. Future classic.Speaking of utes you always wanted I would quite like a Cayman GT4.
Bring it Chunts. This answers so much. Yet creates so many more questions.
I’m justified to give you more shit now btw
I think that's true for a lot of people but I'm aiming to pull a couple of tonnes and go to places like Fraser Island.Honda Ridgeline or the new Hyunadai Sante Fe ute would be good. 99% of these things never see a dirt road anyway, may as well have the safety and handling advantages of a proper unibody construction.
Bit harsh. Your Ragley doesn't weigh that much.I'm aiming to pull a couple of tonnes
My first car was one of these - fond memories!Brumby’s are awesome and I’ve always wanted one.
I’d also take one of these. Old man had three, such good little cars. Learnt how to drive in a sweet yellow one.

Not being a dick for once - Make sure you get a compressor and recovery equipment before you go - Don't rely on other people to have the equipment (unless of course its a planned trip with people that have the gear). Fraser is a funny place you can do so much of it no sweat but then you get comfortable and next thing you know your stuck. Especially getting on and off the barge areas where is super chopped up. Tyre pressure will be crucial in this.I think that's true for a lot of people but I'm aiming to pull a couple of tonnes and go to places like Fraser Island.
They're great with a LS conversionSpeaking of utes you always wanted I would quite like a Cayman GT4.
Actually you are. I want to see the aftermath on ‘I got bogged at I skip point’ and all the bogans ragging on the Beijing billykartNot being a dick for once - Make sure you get a compressor and recovery equipment before you go - Don't rely on other people to have the equipment (unless of course its a planned trip with people that have the gear).
It's good advice and mirrors what I've already been told. Not being a dick for once - Make sure you get a compressor and recovery equipment before you go - Don't rely on other people to have the equipment (unless of course its a planned trip with people that have the gear). Also a lift kit might be in order too
You might face palm but it improves the approach and departure angles to Ranger levels, it's not a Ute on stilts lift!
Lol, makes me think of my old 2.4 Hilux from when I was 17... Absolute gutless piece of shit coined the "cappuccino maker" by @frenchman that couldn't get uphill in anything higher than 3rd and would go around corners backwards at 25 km/h every time it rained because the lift kit the previous owner had put in meant it was like Bambi on ice. No risk of rollover thoughDon’t put sticky tyres on it, you want them to understeer/slide to reduce the chance of a rollover.
